Who we are

Mandalas By Cheryl ("we", "us") is operated by Cheryl Harte, based in Dublin, Ireland. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. For any questions, contact mandalasbycheryl@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Contact and enquiry details — name, email, phone number, and message content, when you submit the contact or commission forms.
• Order and shipping details — name, email, and delivery address, collected by our payment processor when you buy a piece.
• Basic usage data — anonymised analytics about how visitors use the site (pages viewed, general location, device type), which does not identify you personally.

How we use it

We use your data only to:

• Respond to enquiries and commission requests
• Process and fulfil orders, including shipping
• Keep records required for accounting and tax purposes
• Understand and improve how the site is used

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing without your separate, explicit consent.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to run this site. Each only receives the data it needs to do its job:

• Stripe — processes payments and collects shipping addresses. Stripe never shares your full card details with us. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Formspree — delivers contact and commission form submissions to our inbox. See Formspree's privacy policy.
• Vercel Analytics — provides anonymised, aggregate visitor statistics; it does not use cookies or track you across sites.

How long we keep it

Order and enquiry data is kept only as long as needed to fulfil the order or respond to your enquiry, and afterwards for as long as Irish tax and accounting law requires (typically six years for financial records).

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email mandalasbycheryl@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission.

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
